This part of EN 10132 specifies the general technical delivery conditions for unalloyed and alloyed cold rolled narrow steel strip with rolling width < 600 mm for heat treatment. In special cases, additional requirements or deviations from this European Standard may be agreed between the buyer and supplier at the time of research and ordering.
For the steel grades covered by this standard, the steel names and numbers given in the relevant tables will be allocated according to EN 10027-1 and EN 10027-2.
Annealed delivery condition can be agreed upon to obtain spheroidized carbides (+AC). In such cases, limits on sphericization and mechanical properties can also be agreed upon at the time of inquiry and ordering.
The cold rolled (+CR) condition can also be applied to the annealed material. The quenched and tempered state (+QT) targets a martensitic or bainitic structure. Specific structures can be agreed upon.
Steels for +CR and +QT delivery conditions are supplied with a tensile strength tolerance in the 150 MPa range or a hardness tolerance in the 50 HV range as specified by the buyer at the time of request and order.
For +A, +LC or +CR conditions, it is applied to the top/outside surface of the coils and the top/top surface of the cut lengths. The other side's view should at least correspond to the MA surface view. These requirements regarding appearances should not apply to the first two inner and outer turns of the coil or to the cut lengths cut from them.
