EN 10202 Cold Rolled Tin Products - Electrolytic Tin Coated and Electrolytic Chrome / Chrome Oxide Coated Steel

EN 10202, a European standard, describes requirements for sheet or roll tin can products for later cutting into sheets. Tin mill products, single and double reduced low carbon mild steel products that are electrolytically coated with tin or chromium / chromium oxide are included in this standard. This European standard applies to cut rolls and sheets with a minimum width of 600 millimeters. This standard was published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute with the following title: TS EN 10202 Cold rolled tin products - Electrolytic tin plated and electrolytic chromium / chromium oxide coated steel.

Cold rolling is the rolling process under a material's recrystallization temperature. With cold rolling, generally smooth surface and stronger sheets are produced than hot rolled sheets. Cold rolling is carried out to increase the surface hardness (or tensile hardness) strength of material.

Cold rolled plates are cold rolled after casting directly as copper alloys. High speed machines in a row are used for cold rolling of steel plate, aluminum and copper alloys. In the rolling process, the final shape is mainly given to the material by cold rolling. Because high strength and surface quality are obtained at the end of the cold rolling process.

The standard for the cold rolling of electrolytic tin-plated and electrolytic chrome or chromium oxide coated steel products is the EN 10202 standard. In the electrolytic metal coating process, a metallic film is coated on a material, whether metallic or not, by electrochemical methods.
