EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 17092-2 standard. Applicable to protective clothing for motorcycle use on the road.

EN 17092-2 Protective Clothing for Motorcycle Riders - Part 2: Requirements for Class AAA Clothing

Grade AAA garments provide impact and abrasion protection using materials and construction that meet higher requirements than the garments covered in parts 3 and 4 of this standard series.

Class AA garments provide impact and abrasion protection using materials and construction that meet higher requirements than the garments covered in part 3 of this standard series.

This does not apply to motorcyclists' apparel for motorsport competition events organized by a sanctioning body or motorcyclist's apparel, unless the off-road riding apparel is said to have loaded impact protection.

AAA-rated clothing generally protects against the risks of a wide variety of equestrian activities and can have higher ergonomic and weight penalties than AA-rated clothing.
