MIL PRF 85045 Standard Test for Fiber Optic Cables

The insulation systems of polyvinylidene fluoride sheathed cables in this standard may deteriorate by contact with phosphate ester type hydraulic fluids at high temperatures. Polyvinylidene fluoride sheathed cables with this specification are not recommended for applications where they will be in contact with phosphate ester type hydraulic fluids at temperatures above 50°C.
