Tanks containing flammable liquid and any associated shut-off means and supports that are part of and attached to the Engine must be Non-Flammable in construction or preservation unless damage by fire causes dangerous leakage or spillage. Combustible liquid For a Piston Engine with an integrated oil pan with a capacity of less than 23,7 liters, the oil pan does not need to be fireproof or surrounded by a fireproof shield, but must still be compatible with the CS-E130.

These features of the Engine that form part of the Mounting structure or Engine attachment points must be Non-Flammable in construction or protection unless required for a particular aircraft installation and declared in accordance with CS-E30.
