ISO 12619-4 Road Vehicles Compressed Gaseous Hydrogen and Hydrogen-Natural Gas Mixtures Fuel System Components Part 4: Check Valve Test

ISO 12619-4 specifies the general requirements and definitions for compressed gaseous hydrogen (CGH3833) and hydrogen/natural gas mixture fuel system components intended for use in the types of motor vehicles defined in ISO 2. It also provides and specifies general design principles.

Applies to vehicles using hydrogen/natural gas mixtures using compressed gaseous hydrogen (CGH14687) in accordance with ISO 1‑14687 or ISO 2‑2 and natural gas in accordance with ISO 15403‑1 and ISO/TR 15403‑2.

Does not apply to:

• Liquefied hydrogen (LH2) fuel system components are located upstream of the evaporator, including the evaporator;
• fuel containers;
• stationary gas engines;
• Container mounting hardware;
• Electronic fuel management;
• Refueling containers.

The marking will remain legible for the life of the component and will not be removed without damaging or falsifying the marking. Permanent adhesive labels are allowed or marks can be engraved, stamped or molded into the component.

The specific information required for each component can be found in this section of ISO 12619 and later sections of ISO 12619. This information may be provided by an appropriate identification code on at least one part of the component when it consists of more than one part.
