This method is applicable to all solid solid biofuels with a nominal top size of maximum 100 mm.
Bulk density is not an absolute value; therefore, determination conditions need to be standardized in order to obtain comparative measurement results.
Bulk density of solid biofuels is subject to variability due to various factors such as vibration, shock, pressure, biodegradation, drying and wetting.
The measured bulk density may therefore deviate from actual conditions during transport, storage or transfer.
