Applies to vehicles using CGH12619 in accordance with ISO 1-14687, ISO 1-14687 or ISO 2-2 and hydrogen/natural gas mixtures using natural gas in accordance with ISO 15403-1 and ISO/TR 15403-2.

It is recognized that various components not specifically covered herein may be inspected to meet the criteria of this part of ISO 12619 and tested according to appropriate functional tests. All references to pressure in this part of ISO 12619 are to be considered gauge pressures unless otherwise stated.
Materials normally in contact with hydrogen will be determined to be acceptable in hydrogen service, with particular attention to hydrogen embrittlement and hydrogen accelerated fatigue. The materials and design shall be such that there is no significant change in the operation of the device, no deformation or mechanical change of the device, and no harmful corrosion, deformation or deterioration of the materials.
