TS EN 13274-1 Respiratory Protective Devices - Experiment Methods - Part 1: Inward Leakage and Determination of Total Inward Leakage

The BS EN 13274-1 standard was developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI) to explain the method of inward leakage and the determination of the total leak inward, which is one of the test methods for respiratory protective devices. This standard has been published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) under the following heading: TS EN 13274-1 Respiratory protective devices - Test methods - Part 1: Inward leakage and determination of total leakage inwards.

TS EN 13274-1 Respiratory Protective Devices - Experiment Methods - Part 1: Inward Leakage and Determination of Total Inward Leakage

The standard in question describes inward leakage filter permeability of facial protective parts in respiratory protective devices and a test method for detecting total leakage inward.

Using respirators correctly is as important as choosing them. The respiratory system procedure should also include what hazards exist, what level of protection workers need, how to wear the respirator, and how to take care of them. Without a complete respiratory protection procedure, employees cannot provide the best protection, even if the correct respiratory device is selected for their job.

A respiratory protection procedure should include the following components: identification of hazards, assessment of exposure to these hazards, respiratory device selection, respiratory protection test, training program, inspection and record keeping, respiratory and cleaning disinfectants, repair and maintenance of respiratory equipment, proper storage of respiratory equipment, health surveillance, standard operating procedures and evaluation of the process.

Today, compact and versatile test devices are used for respiratory protection equipment testing in advanced laboratories. These tests are easy and reliable.

Within the scope of breathing apparatus compatibility tests carried out by our organization EUROLAB, testing services in accordance with TS EN 13274-1 standard are also provided.
