BS EN 15333-2 standard has been developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI), which includes features of the free flowing equipment, test methods and marking criteria in respiratory protective devices with open-circuit, gas-supplied at the core level. This standard has been published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) with the following title: TS EN 15333-2 Respiratory devices - Open circuit device containing gas supplied at the level of the core - Part 2: Free flow device.
This standard describes the minimum requirements for the supplied free-flow surface and free-flow surface-oriented diving equipment to ensure that respiratory protection equipment operates at the lowest level and safely. This standard is suitable for the following situations:
The requirements of this standard are intended to take into account the interaction between the user, device and, if possible, the environment in which the device can be used. This standard does not cover saturated diving systems, mini bell systems or devices used only for oxygen decompression.
During the testing of this equipment, it is determined whether the parts used have sufficient mechanical strength and abrasion resistance and whether they have sufficient resistance to different temperatures.
Within the scope of breathing apparatus compatibility tests carried out by our organization EUROLAB, testing services in accordance with TS EN 15333-2 standard are also provided.
