This standard covers emission requirements for radio frequency (RF) disturbances in the frequency range 9 kHz to 400 GHz. Measurements should only be made in the frequency ranges where the limits are specified.

For ISM RF applications as defined in the ITU radio regulations, this standard covers emission requirements for radio frequency disturbances in the frequency range 9 kHz to 18 GHz.

Requirements for ISM RF lighting equipment and UV irradiators operating at frequencies within the ISM frequency bands defined by ITU radio regulations are included in this standard.

Other CISPR product and equipment covered by family emission standards are outside the scope of this standard.
