EN 12390-3 Testing of Hardened Concrete, Part 3: Standard Test for Compressive Strength of Test Samples

Samples are loaded until failure in a compression testing machine conforming to EN 12390-4. The maximum load carried by the sample is recorded and the compressive strength of the concrete is calculated.

Wipe clean all test machine bearing surfaces and remove any loose particles or other foreign matter from specimen surfaces that will come into contact with the plates.

Do not use packaging other than auxiliary rollers or space blocks between the sample and the rollers of the testing machine.
