The methods apply to wood and parquet flooring installed on a discontinuous support so that static load bearing conditions are assumed.
The tests are performed on a test rig consisting of several elements assembled according to a defined type or, in special applications, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Bending strength is determined by applying a static line load across the center span of some test rigs.
