All categories of FIBC will be manufactured from flexible materials covered by a written specification. The FIBC manufacturer shall have an authorized declaration of conformity for each individual lot of material.

All welded seams and seams will be locked or sewn to the back or provided with a minimum 20mm tip. All stitched seam ends must be fixed. The surfaces to be joined by welding, bonding or thermal insulation shall be clean.

The filled FIBC is loaded to the specified test load using a compression tester or a dead load, and at the end of the test period it is checked for loss of content and body deterioration that makes the FIBC unsafe for transport and storage.
