This European Standard specifies methods for verifying the conformity of one or more characteristics of a shipment of panels with the requirements of a contract or the declared values of characteristics of panels in a shipment documented by the supplier.
This European Standard does not apply to internal or external control of the conformity of products in the factory. For these purposes, EN 326-2 applies. Verification of compliance in this standard is based on testing small test pieces.
An audit of an isolated panel party will be carried out by a recognized, independent body or otherwise in accordance with agreement between the parties concerned. In the case of a building material, the independent body will be a notified body.
The lot from which the sample will be taken for inspection shall consist only of panels from the same manufacturer and of a uniform, grade, grade, thickness range, or thickness.
