The force required to peel off the layers of a resilient floor covering is measured.
Place the test piece in the jaws of the tensile testing machine so that the tension is applied evenly across the width. Turn on the machine and recorder at a separation speed of (100±5) mm/min. Record the continued separation force beyond the initial separation.
