EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of ISO 1833-11 standard. ISO 1833-11 specifies a method using sulfuric acid to determine the mass percent of cellulose fibers after removal of non-fibrous materials in textiles made from their blends.
Cell loss fiber is obtained with 75% (mass fraction) sulfuric acid from the known dry mass of the blend. The residue is collected, washed, dried and weighed; is expressed as a percentage of the dry mass of the mixture. Cell loss is found by difference in fiber ratio.
