The method may not identify the entire climatic environment of the operator because it is also affected by the heat load from sources other than those in the machine, such as solar heating.
ISO 10263-6 will be used in conjunction with ISO 10263-4 to more accurately determine the exact heat load on the operator station. Minimum performance levels for the machine's operator station heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems are set in ISO 10263-4.
