DIN 53351 Testing Artificial Leather and Similar Fabrics - Standard Test for Permanent Folding Behavior

The number of folding stresses used to evaluate the sample follows the geometric series R 323 according to DIN 1-10. In principle, it does not make sense to evaluate permanent buckling or permanent bending behavior based on arithmetic series.

For a sufficient reproducibility of the measurement results, the dimensions of the device parts and the speed of the rotational movements must exactly comply with the specifications of the standard.
