EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance service within the scope of BS 3356 standard. This British standard describes a method for determining the bending length and bending stiffness of textile fabrics and certain nonwovens by means of a fixed angle flexometer.
The method does not apply to fabrics that bend or warp poorly when cut into small pieces, or to fabrics that show a noticeable time effect when allowed to warp under their own mass.
The use of this method for non-woven fabrics should be agreed between the parties concerned. Titles of publications referred to in this standard are listed on the inside back cover.
