Substitution of materials must ensure conformity to the product description. The substitute material may be added to the product description when compliance has been demonstrated.
If the mirror manufacturer wishes to claim that any performance characteristics are independent of the production equipment used, the factory production control system must comply with this European Standard, including its specific process control conditions.
