EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of DIN 54608 test standard. This standard specifies a test method for the determination of the buckling strength of corrugated board.
This includes all single and double wall corrugated board grades from flute types A, B, C, D and E and combinations thereof.
According to DIN EN ISO 186, test pieces are taken from the product to be tested in each machine direction (longitudinal or transverse) to be tested. The inner and outer layers of the corrugated board should be marked. The material to be tested should not have any bends, bends or greater curvature of ± 2% according to the sample format.
For sample cutting, commercially available manually or automatically operated blades, saw systems or laser cutting devices can be used. A prerequisite for use is the exclusion of sample compression during cutting. With respect to the sample width, a cutting accuracy of ±1 mm must be maintained.
