Carpet means any finished product that is partially or wholly made of fabric or related material and is intended or reasonably expected to be used as floor covering in homes, offices or other places subject to traffic.
This method involves exposing each of eight conditioned, repeated samples of a given carpet or rug to a standard ignition source in a draft protected environment.
