AWPA E12-15 Test for Determining Corrosion of Metal in Contact with Treated Wood

It is very important to include wood treated with a suitable control preservative in a test. Comparisons should be made only with wood treated with these control preservatives, keeping all experimental parameters constant.

This test method is intended to be a screening test. It can also be used to provide information for standardization of preventive treatments.
