EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN ISO 283-1 standard. This standard defines a test method for determining the full thickness tensile strength, elongation at break and elongation at reference load of conveyor belts with textile structure.
Methods are being developed for tensile strengths greater than 2500 N/mm. This standard is not suitable or applicable to light conveyor belts described in EN 873.
A test piece cut through the entire thickness of the conveyor belt is stretched using a tensile testing machine under standard conditions until the test piece breaks.
