Over the years, this section has been modified to improve its content and may be revised by national committees and experts in the light of comments made on the basis of practical experience and changing technology.
This current revision is the result of a reformatting attempt as well as some content changes aimed at making this section more user-friendly, less obscure and fully compatible with other parts of IEC 60086 on a cross-reference basis.
