Determination of these fiber properties will often not produce the same results when performed on different types of test equipment. To avoid such differences, this document is limited to the use of the constant propagation velocity testing machine.
It is applicable to all fibers, including crimped fibers, provided that the existing fiber length meets the gauge length specified in this document.
