This standard applies primarily to any other product or test standard: Requirements in other standards only apply when this standard refers to them. This standard addresses requirements applicable to air valves DN to DN 300 and PFA 6 to PFA 25.
The test environment will be air; the air pressure test shall comply with all relevant safety regulations; Additional security measures will be taken when necessary. The test shall be carried out on a vertically mounted valve in delivery conditions. The test should begin with the valve and ambient air. At the point where the airflow is measured, the air temperature should remain between 5°C and 45°C throughout the test. Multifunctional valves will be tested without isolating the parts providing different functions.
