This standard is part 1 of the European standard for devices used in barbecue, solid fuels and igniters, which aims to reduce the risks that may occur during and during barbecue with solid fuels.

If the cooking grill position is adjustable, this adjustment can be made without the operator's hand directly touching the cooking grill.
