EN ISO 4210-2 specifies safety and performance requirements for the design, assembly and testing of Seat height bicycles and subassemblies and outlines the manufacturer's instructions for the use and maintenance of such bicycles.
This part of EN ISO 4210 applies to racing bikes with a maximum seat height of 635 mm or more, including young adult bikes, city and hiking bikes, mountain bikes and folding bikes with a maximum seat height of 750 mm or more and less than 635 mm. valid.
This part of EN ISO 4210 does not apply to specific types of bikes, such as delivery bikes, recumbent bikes, tandems, BMX bikes and bikes designed and equipped for use in demanding applications such as approved competition events, aerobatic maneuvers or aerobatic maneuvers.
For bikes with a maximum seat height of 435mm or less, refer to ISO 8124-1, and for bikes with a maximum seat height of more than 435mm and less than 635mm, refer to ISO 8098.
