Demonstration is a method of demonstrating that the use of a final product meets an individually determined requirement. Inspection includes visual inspection of a realized final product. Tests, on the other hand, are often used to verify physical design features or specific manufacturer identity.
Validation tests are end-product tests performed to obtain the detailed data needed to validate performance or to provide sufficient information to validate performance through further analysis. These tests are performed on the final products. Testing generates data at individual points for each specified requirement under controlled conditions.
Validation tests are based on material purchasing conditions and tender specification requirements applied in production. Product validation tests are performed as specified in plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with each specified product requirement. These tests ensure that procedures are followed and implemented as planned, products are correctly calibrated, and sufficient data is collected and recorded for the necessary verification measures.
