BS 7188 Test Methods for Shock Absorbing Playground Covering and Performance Requirements

Material samples, some of which undergo accelerated aging, are eroded consistently. The material loss is compared with the original mass of the sample to calculate the wear index. The wear index is compared over time to calculate the wear rate.
