The waterstop will be in the shape and dimensions shown in the drawings accompanying the project specification. When put into use, it will be produced by an extrusion process that is dense, homogeneous, free from holes and other defects.
The cross section of the waterstop shall be uniform along its length and transversely symmetrical such that the thickness at any given distance from any edge of the waterstop is equal.
Samples from the finished waterstop must meet the requirements listed below when tested by the test method and in the number of samples shown.
