DIN 67510-2 Photoluminescent Pigments and Products - Test for Field Measurement of Phosphorescent Products

The measurement must be carried out under the conditions generally prevailing at the site of application, in particular under the lighting and temperature conditions prevailing there. Before starting measurements, lighting devices must be operated for at least 15 minutes.

Depending on the time, a period of 5 minutes must be waited from the end of the brightness measurement to the start of the brightness measurement. During this period the photoluminescent product must be re-exposed to the excitation of existing lighting conditions.

During measurement, the formation of extraneous light on the light input surface of the photometer head and the surface of the photoluminescence product to be measured should be prevented as much as possible or its effect should be corrected.
