EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 12372 standard. This European standard specifies a test method for determining the flexural strength under concentrated load for natural stone. Both identification and technological product testing procedure are included.
The principle of this method is to place the sample on two rollers and gradually load the sample in the middle. The breaking load is measured and the bending strength is calculated.
Sampling is not the responsibility of the testing laboratory, except when specifically requested. At least 10 samples should be selected from a homogeneous lot.
