EN 13113 Tannery Machines - Test for Coil Coating Machines

Applies to the following machines:

• Single and multi-cylinder counter rotating machines;
• Single and multi-cylinder synchronized machines;
• Single and multi-cylinder counter-rotating/synchronous machines, called combination machines.

The machines are not designed for use during transport.

This standard specifies safety requirements for design, construction and operation. It considers intended use, foreseeable misuse, component and system failures.

This standard takes into account material feeding and conveying devices that become an integral part when fitted to the machine.

Directive 94/9/EC on equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres is applicable to the type of machinery or equipment covered by this European Standard. The current standard is not necessarily in line with Directive 94/9/EC. Additional safety requirements may be required in a future revision of this standard to meet Directive 94/9/EC.
