EN 14181 Fixed Welding Emissions - Test for Automatic Measuring Systems

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 14181 standard. This standard specifies procedures for establishing quality assurance levels (QALs) for automated measurement systems (AMS) installed in industrial plants for the determination of flue gas components and other flue gas parameters.

This European Standard states:

• a procedure (QAL2) for calibrating the AMS and determining the variability of the measured values ​​obtained by the AMS to demonstrate its suitability for application following the installation of the AMS;
• A procedure (QAL1) for maintaining and demonstrating the required quality of measurement results during normal operation of an AMS by checking that the zero and range characteristics are consistent with those determined during QAL3;
• A procedure for annual surveillance tests (AST) of the AMS to assess that it is operating correctly and that its performance remains valid, and that the calibration function and variability remain as predetermined.

This European Standard is intended for use after AMS has been approved in accordance with the EN 15267 series of European Standards.
