EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 246 test standard. This European standard specifies performance criteria for the protection of human health and the environment for sanitary taps and related accessories used for water supply.
Performance requirements are expressed in terms of mechanical strength, flow rate, efficiency and acoustic pressure level. This standard includes and refers to the relevant test methods and evaluation of the conformity of the product to this standard.
All materials that come into contact with water intended for human consumption will pose no health risk up to a temperature of 90°C. They do not cause any deterioration in food quality, appearance, smell or taste in water intended for human consumption.
Within the recommended limits for correct operation, materials will not be subject to any deterioration that could affect the operation of the flow regulator. Additional protection will be provided to materials with insufficient corrosion resistance.
