EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 474-3 standard. This part of EN 474 deals with all major hazards, hazardous situations and events associated with loaders defined in EN ISO 6165 when used as intended and under conditions of misuse reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer.
This section also deals with forking application, single heavy object manipulation application, object manipulation application and log processing.
The requirements of this chapter are complementary to the common requirements formulated in EN 474-1. This section does not repeat the requirements of EN 474-1, but adds or replaces the application requirements for installers.
This section specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce the risks from significant hazards, hazardous situations and events during commissioning, operation and maintenance of loaders.
This European standard does not apply to loaders manufactured before the date of publication of this European standard by CEN.
