Power supply equipment with special features developed for special applications is not necessarily the subject of this standard and may require further testing.
This European standard has been prepared on the basis of the functions to be provided in all power supply equipment. The power supply equipment may have its own cabinet or be housed with other equipment of the fire detection and fire alarm system, such as control and indication equipment of EN 54-2. A fire detection and fire alarm system may use more than one power supply equipment.
