Textile hydrostatic pressure refers to the resistance encountered when water enters the fabric. Under standard atmospheric conditions, the fabric is subjected to a continuous increase in water pressure until water droplets seep through the back of the fabric, at which point the water pressure dimension measured is the textile hydrostatic pressure.
