Top materials and bottom materials will be tested as two separate components, even if the bot is known to be made in a Single injection process. Test pieces from the material of the boot shall be prepared by any of the permitted procedures given in ISO 37.
Measure the thickness of the outsole, including any Pattern, from the tower surface of the sole, filier or steel midsole (whichever is lowest) to the outer surface of the outsole, both on and between the studs. Take three measurements at different points in the back area.
