ISO 7176-21 specifies requirements and test methods for electromagnetic emissions and electromagnetic immunity of electric wheelchairs and scooters with a maximum speed of not more than 15 km/h, designed for indoor or outdoor use by persons with disabilities.
It also applies to manual wheelchairs with an additional power kit. It does not apply to vehicles designed to carry more than one person.
ISO 7176-21 also specifies requirements and test methods for electromagnetic compatibility of battery chargers intended for use with powered wheelchairs and scooters.
