Specimens grow a fluorescent under controlled conditions and expose to cultivation. Protection against degradation, standard textile applicability, ability to remain a benchmark and effect, percentage in strength or residual strength not suitably or unaffected.
During this test, samples are exposed to a fluorescent UV light source and periodic soaking under controlled conditions.
When assessing resistance to degradation under standard textile conditions, a comparison standard and exposure criteria grade the material in terms of percent strength loss or percent residual strength or color change.
