EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of ANSI API 5L standard. ANSI API 5L specifies the production of two product levels (PSL1 and PSL2) of seamless and welded steel pipes for the use of a pipeline in the transport of oil and natural gas.
Ingots, blooms, billets, coils or sheets used in pipe fabrication will be made via basic oxygen, electric furnace or open hearth with a ladle refining process. For PSL2, the steel must be killed and melted according to the fine grain application. The coil or sheet used for PSL2 pipe will not contain any repair welding.
