The light sources used will be fluorescent UV lamps conforming to ISO 4892-3. This is an index test to distinguish between products with little or no weather resistance and products with that resistance.
Samples of the material to be tested are exposed to a light source for a defined period of radiant exposure or exposure and at recommended temperature and humidity conditions. The change in performance of these samples after this exposure is determined.
