This European standard specifies the technical specifications and specifies test and inspection methods for finished corrugated bituminous sheets when they leave the factory. Corrugated bitumen sheets are produced using a homogeneous mixture of organic or inorganic fibers and bitumen. The shape and structure of the corrugated bituminous sheets and the quality of the raw materials guarantee the properties.
Corrugated bitumen sheets can be painted by spinning. They may also be provided with a colored or colorless adhesive surface coating, which may or may not have a granular or flake coating.
The measurement should be made while the sheet is supported on a stable flat plane. The length shall be measured either at the top of the corrugation or in the valley of the corrugation in the second and penultimate grooves.
Measurements shall be taken from the edge of the corrugation or the flat 50 mm from the edge of the plate. 10 different blade or flat part positions will be measured with 5 measurements at each end of the sheet.
The extension device is rigidly and vertically mounted under the test piece. The location will be exactly in the middle of the two square pipes and at the bottom of a central groove directly below the cylinder.
After applying the six channels, three supports, I-beams, the force absorber and the extension device, make sure that there is no gap between the corrugated bitumen sheet and the two central square pipes. If there is a gap, the corrugated bitumen board is not suitable for this test and must be replaced.
