As it is known, while gas extinguishing systems are being designed, pressurized systems consisting of fluid gases that have survived or have been preferred tend to leak from the environment. Areas where Aerosol Suppression will be installed do not need to be 100% sealed. Particles that are lighter than air remain suspended in the atmosphere and penetrate the source of the fire and prevent the re-emergence of fire in impermeable environments.
The fact that the environment is impermeable provides an advantage and prevents the formation of fire again in the environment as long as the aerosol remains inside (approximately 4 hours). Aerosol extinguishers do not contain pressure and have no maintenance requirements like pressure vessels. It contains micronized solid potassium which is compressed into steel containers.
