ISO 5775-1 Bicycle Tires and Rims - Tire Definitions and Sizes

• "Wired-edge" tires mounted on straight-sided or crochet-type rims;
• “Beaded-edge” tires mounted on hooked bead rims.

Tubular strut tires and non-pneumatic tires are not covered by this part of ISO 5775.

Before measurement, tires should be mounted on the measuring rim, inflated to the recommended inflation pressure and left at normal room temperature for at least 24 hours, then the inflation pressure should be reset to its original value.
