JIS Z 2241 Room Temperature Tensile Test for Metallic Materials

The sample is clamped in the jaws of the machine and a tensile load is applied to the sample at a constant rate of deformation. While recording the machine force and the corresponding deformation of the specimen, the load is gradually increased until the specimen breaks.
